About Me
I'm Sarah, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist
Every person I work with is different, with their own story, their own perspective on life, and their own sense of what feels right. I believe that therapy is a deeply personal journey, unique to each individual. My role is to meet you where you are — offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, within a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and understanding. Whether you are navigating a sudden life crisis, managing long-term difficulties, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of the next step, I am here to support you.
I believe we are deeply shaped by our connections with others, and our earliest relationships guide how we come to understand ourselves and the world around us. I work with whatever you bring into the room, but I'll often want to understand where it began.
Sometimes the challenges we face stem from early roots where our needs weren't met, and sometimes they are born from the pressures of our life right now. Whichever it is for you, our therapeutic relationship can become a place of gentle repair.
I'm a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, a member of the National Centre for Eating Disorders, a certified online and telephone counsellor, and I'm recognised by Bupa and Lyra.
How I Can Help
You do not have to carry your struggles alone. Life is messy, and our challenges often overlap. You might start by talking about feeling down, only to realize it connects to deeper doubts or heavy relationships. You do not need to have everything neat and clear before we begin. Most people show up without knowing what they need. Together, we can find simple words for feelings that feel hard to name.
Difficulties with a partner, family member, or friend can be born from the pressures of today, or they may echo patterns from long before. Therapy offers a space to hold both — helping you understand the relationships in your life right now, while safely exploring and shifting the patterns underneath.

Sometimes a loss you are facing today brings older losses back to the surface, and it can feel overwhelming. There is no correct way to grieve, and this journey moves only at your pace — we will hold space for all of it, exactly as it comes.

Read moreAbuse within a relationship takes many forms and can be difficult to recognise, particularly when it mirrors patterns we have known before. No matter the circumstances, this is a safe, confidential space to unpack what you are experiencing.

Together, we can gently explore what they might be trying to protect — whether that is a need for control, a struggle with self-worth, or a longing to be safely seen.

Therapy offers a safe, collaborative relationship to explore both your distinct strengths and the challenges you face, entirely on your terms.
Read moreAnxiety can manifest as persistent worry, physical tension, or a sense of dread that is hard to explain — and can sometimes feel much heavier than the current moment alone can account for.
Read moreDepression can make the smallest tasks feel impossible. Therapy offers a space where you do not have to pretend to be okay, and where we can gently sit with those heavy feelings together until they begin to make sense.

Everything you share remains strictly confidential. Your privacy and safety are my absolute priority.
I bring warmth, empathy, and genuine care to every session, meeting you exactly where you are.
There is no judgement here — only a safe, accepting space where you can be completely yourself.
